Musicoterapia con bebés prematuros en UCIN: una propuesta de intervención centrada en la familia.

Resumen

Esta propuesta de intervención en musicoterapia está dirigida al colectivo de los prematuros ingresados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCIN) y a sus padres. Se enmarca en el modelo de los cuidados centrados en la familia (CCF) con el objetivo de potenciar mejorías tanto en el bienestar del bebé prematuro y de su familia como en el vínculo que los une. Este proyecto subraya el potencial de la musicoterapia como soporte de aplicación de los CCF en la UCIN. En ese contexto, esta terapia complementaria de doble enfoque constituye una herramienta de fácil implementación, beneficiosa tanto para la salud y el desarrollo del prematuro como para el bienestar psicológico de sus padres, la construcción de un vínculo familiar de calidad, la humanización del ámbito hospitalario y la actualización del sistema de salud.
