Self-archiving policy

This policy sets out the ways in which authors published in the journal Misostenido may self-archive versions of their work on their own websites, on institutional websites and in other repositories. 

Misostenido is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence.

Authors have the right to make their article available to the public in line with the terms of the above licence, subject to the following conditions:

Attribution — Authors must give proper credit, include a link to the licence, and specify whether any changes have been made. 
Non-commercial — The material may not be used for commercial purposes.
No derivative works — If the material is remixed, transformed or built upon, the resulting modified material may not be distributed.

Authors may distribute any version (submitted version, accepted version or published version) of their work in:

  • Institutional repositories (university archives, etc.)
  • Thematic repositories and general preprint repositories (Zenodo, Hispana, Europeana, etc.)
  • Personal online platforms (websites, blogs, social media, scientific forums, etc.)
  • Academic and scientific social media platforms (ResearchGate, etc.)

Such publications must include the full reference details of the article published in Misostenido, clearly stating that the work was first published in this journal.

Authors are permitted and advised to share their work online (for example on institutional or personal websites) following publication, as this can foster productive interactions and increase the visibility and speed of dissemination of the work.
